


















2005-2006 / Deep in the jungle of Lantau Island, the Zheng Sheng Rehabilitation centre was home to eighty boys with scarred pasts. Many young people in Hong Kong have their lives ruined by drugs and gang activity. ‘Zheng Sheng’ when translated, means ‘Repent to Live’ and the centre was home to a group of boys given a second chance to create a life free from drugs and crime. They served a minimum of two years. Life in the centre prepared them to be reunited with their families and society, in the hope they would make a positive start in their new lives.
