Stephen Kelly is a photographer whose long term personal projects explore how urban and economic development is shaping and transforming landscapes, communities and identities in China and Myanmar.

He has worked on a variety of commissions across Asia and Europe over the last decade. Stephens clients have included UNHCR, WWF, ActionAid, The Observer Magazine, The Independent Magazine, The FADER, D La Repubblica Delle Donne, IL Magazine, The New York Times, Tages Anzeiger, Bergens Tidende and Bloomberg amongst others.

Stephen delivers regular reportage workshops, and has spoken about his practice at such institutions as Hong Kong Baptist University, Mendrisio Accademia di architettura and the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) .
